Has anyone used this baby yet ? I haven't seen it mentioned on KvR.

This looks like my type of synth. A simple semi-modular.
Even though it is a one osc synth it has a dual sub-oscillator. Looks very, very nice.
They really make it hard to buy things like this...been looking at AS dealers and none have it on thier websites. AS don't even have a dealer in the UK.
Any first hand experience with Spawn ?

Analogue Solutions have sold a few synth ranges which werent actually 'theirs', including Vermona stuff. The Spawn was designed by SMS in conjunction with Analogue Solutions, and sold by AS. According to the SOS review of the newer SMS Planet 7 modular (below), the Spawn was a limited edition, which is probably why you cant find it.
The BOB/MARS/Planet7 system is composed of 19" 1u modules and a 2u 'patchbay'

Limited edition, this explains it. Thank you whyterabbyt.
Might have to get in touch with AS direct then.

Found it
http://www.modularsquare.com/products.php?prod=192
The price though...it's gone higher since the review.
It costs just too much.

seems to have gone up about 140 EUR. its been 5 years since the review, so Im not surprised it costs more, but its definitely 'spensive now. im surprised they've got them though...

You should contact Bob Williams direct at Analogue Systems either by phone or by e-mail. He's a really great chap to deal with.
Their website is the first port of call:

I'll try that, thanks.
With regards to the price, I just naively thought there could be a bargain to be had after all this time, perhaps an end of line deal ( since these type of small format analog boxes seem to come and go so quickly).
