runagate - Bittern, Relinquish Thine Ionic Halides

260kbps Mp3
8.4 Mb download
4:34 duration
genre: abstract

I've been monkeying around with a couple of de la Mancha's VST WIPs and came up with this. There's the mp3 here, and at the bottom of the page is the .flp to download is you use the current beta of FLStudio (7.4?).

Plug-ins used to make this:
  • hue2600 > dBlue Glitch v1.3

    piggle > wavemorph v0.5 > Buffered

    thunder > bj Wavechanger2 > Shifter-Bank

    brush > daevl.triphase > compressive

    manic > Quiet > Buffer Override > ck granutha > moot v2.3 > daevl.triptych

    FL BooBass > X-Fx Overdrive > Helian 2ndBass > DynaFilter2 > machine alpha > Barracuda > dubsack

    Jellfish > arcDev ET-200 > Milli Vinylli > Wow n Flutter > TimeShifter2

Master Bus > Antonymic > beta Onion Fx > Motile > Anticode > Compressive

yummy. like listening to a recording of a neuron dreaming.

wow, man...that was excellent. Great listen. Something very organic about it...I think that rachmiel said it well...something happening at the very root of things.

Cool - seems to have a wider, warmer sound palette than your tracks often have, and I like the fact that it's down tempo. Plenty of yummy sound treats to tickle the aural pleasure centre! :)

I like second part better, nostalgia I think.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

hey thanks!
nice piece - fascinating to see you work. Although I'm surprised at how much more sound design on the synth vs the fx' there is. Very cool.

I love the title, because it evokes a great picture when listening. Still happily investigating it here :)

 I love your comments. I wonder if your comments are so much like koans in your native tongue? I bet they are.

I wish I could provide you with something more by-design instead of a byproduct of preset-making. And I will. I imagine that, being that I'm working on an entirely new kind of project (it's working! I can't believe it!) that I'll be able to provide something more methodical and structured.

Automating instruments, ah how I love it. When I say I automate stuff, I am not joking around. This is not even remotely an egregious example of such.

Everyone else, thanks for listening :)

Yeah, ok. Tell me how to apply for that job. I warn any prospective employer, though, that I will spend a maximum of 16 hours a day at a PC.

Can I bring de la Mancha to Hollywood, too?
