Where are the sites?

I feel really silly about this - and I don't even know if this is the right place to ask...

I bought Sonic Synth and Sample Tank few weeks ago, through the group buy on esoundz.com.
After that I was very used to check these sites daily:

http://www.sampletank.com

BUT - these sites are not there any more last week (or maybe more)...

Then I tried to access also
http://www.ikmultimedia.com
and this site is not there any more either...

Althought I see the news about IK Multimedia's ARC system "everywhere" - also on the top of KVR main page.
And if I go from there to
http://www.kvraudio.com/news.php?id=8202&z4=950
and click there on the link http://www.ikmultimedia.com/arc
of course - the page is not there either...

So I've been checking internet often if there is any info about these sites, why they dissapeared...
I didn't find ANY notice about that, anywhere.
So I 'm checking also this forum, but I can't find any news about this here either.

However - a hour ago I checked the site http://www.sonicreality.com and found there "similar" page about Sonic Synth, but still no page about Sample Tank...
I also can't find any info on the site http://www.sonicreality.com/ about where are the sites http://www.soniksynth.com and http://www.sampletank.com .

So - am I in twilight zone or what (because "other internet" works very fine for me all the time and also last week) or am I missing here something else?

Any enlightening would be highly appreciated.

I've just noticed something very weird too:

ONLY During Preview of this post, I noticed this:

If I type here in this text the link http://www.sampletank.com in the beginning of the line, it appears normal, like this:
http://www.sampletank.com

but if I type the same link below the link to Sonik Synth, then the link to Sample Tank appears with the space between characters (sampl etank or sample tank) inside the link. As here:

http://www.soniksynth.com
http://www.sampletank.com

You can try this too.

BUT - after I submitted this post - the links above are not as links any more (hypertext from preview became normal text in submitted post) so all URLs appears in the post normally (without the spaces inside).

there's a thread over on the instruments forum - the IK site is down at the moment. Has been since Sunday, and there's various theories as to why - probably a server or domain/transit error.

Looks like we're all waiting...

Danbroad, thanks! I found the thread.
Althought it seems they noticed only for IK Multimedia site, but not also for Sonic Synth, Sample Tank, and maybe for some other their sites.

There's a issue with the IK sites due to some major internet cables being cut. I believe their ISP has been affected.

Anyway, it's all their sites as they're all hosted in the same place.

Yes, in 10 years it is has never happened like that and there was some kind of major server failure that should be solved any minute by now if it hasn't already. Everything was down. But, in case you were worried, apart from required patience for registering (good thing you have a grace period on IK product regisrations) everything is fine with IK just to let you know. It can happen. There are sever back ups and back ups to the back ups so this really is a fluke. I am sure it will be solved so this doesn't happen again. EDIT: I just read the other thread about the submarines and cables being cut... hmm, I guess.

As for Sonic Reality, we run on completely different servers in another part of the world. Knock on wood, things are running well despite a giant squid who likes to EAT cables.
