The VL Visual Editor for Yamaha VL synths doesn't work on Vista or on XP x64 edition. Does anyone know of some hacked version of it that does work? Is there any other similar graphical/visual editor? I've found pretty much nothing after extensive searching..

Yes! This version works on Vista and XP x64 edition. It's only for VL70-m and PLG VL expansion board, so no VL1/VL1-m support. Other Yamaha sites have absolutely no mention of this version and yamahasynth.com even lists VL Visual Editor incompatible in their Vista compatibility list. As always, Yamaha Japan and other divisions have serious lack of coordination between them.

Blah. I just used it and it's nothing like VLEditor. I thought it's the same thing

.. only basic control.
