Ok been using Wavelab for years on my main DAW and works fine for burning. ON my laptop though, I cannot get Wavelab to see my CD/DVD burner. It will import songs just fine, but when I try to write a disc, in the "Device" setting it says " No selection". I read in the help topics about other cd burning software may interfere. I have Nero installed which I unistalled and I still have no access to my burner through Wavelab..

ANything else I can try?

thanks

I remember there was a problem with Wavelab 4 not "seeing" certain CD writers. I thought they had fixed it.

Yeah Im beginngin to think this is a Wavelab issue considering it does "see" my burner as a reader. I.E If I choose 'Cd Copy' I can see my burner in the 'source device' section, but nothing can be selected as the destination device.

Wavelab looks at the driver for your burner. Go into the Steinberg dir and somewhere in there is a program called "tools". If you switch to the driver that it uses, all will be well. Good luck.
