Sample Libraries

Hello,

Could anyone please give me good examples of Sample Libraries?
I've worked with Vocaloid, Hypersonic, Kontakt and Halion but im looking for more and i would like to know your opinion.

Hi, and welcome to KVR. What kind of music do you make, and what kinds of instruments do you like to write for? If you write nothing but classical and baroque, you probably wouldn't want to hear about everyone's favorite hip hop loop libraries. (Or maybe you would; who knows?)

I'm looking for a Hip Hop, Jazz Library, but in fact i do like to mix different genres, for example sometimes i like to give an electronic touch to a Hip Hop beat. But its mainly Hip Hop, Jazz, maybe Soul and R&B. Steinberg and Native Instruments have some nice Libraries but im now looking for different ones. By the way, i think my next project will be a mix of Baroque and a Hardcore Hip Hop Beat

Esoundz +1 : very good quality instruments. (Sonik Synth and also check the Sonik Capsules for wonder guitars, basses and acoustic drums)

Garritan Jazz Band is also worth mentioning, while you may prefer buy dedicated instruments librairies like Wallander instruments. Or Saxlab for some saxes (sample based Vsti). Or MilsesTones (soudfont.ita) for a glamourous and very expressive "trumpet like" instrument. I dont indicate here too much jazz and rock drums, due to the fact you mentioned hardcore hip hop beats. Or Mr Ray for some Rhodhes keys. Or NI products for vintage organs (B3) or vintage keyboards. And many others.

There are a bunch of dedicated instruments libraries. I recently listened to a song in Kvr music café made with Real Strat for example, and well, it was amazing considering it was a Vsti playing. (erf no this was a human playing )

Also some Vsti (not sample) libraries might worth being considered. For example Rob Papen Blue can perform some very nice jazzy keys that samplers/romplers would have hard times to imitate. Same with NI FM7/8, IL Sytrus, and many others.

I was kidding when i said my project would be Baroque and Hardcore Hip Hop I'm looking for Standard Hip Hop Instruments.
