But good news for you most of the new IL Synths are AU compatible ...
In your very list only Sculpture and Ultrabeat were worth something ...
I had forgot something the new sliceX

And by the way just remember this thing , Ultrabeat and Sculptire were never created by Apple , they were created by Emagic , this company who created Logic on the Atari ST platform is the only responisble for the technology that is still used in Logic Pro ...

Wow.

Seeing all of those interfaces lined up like that, you can almost smell how good they sound...

:) just taking the piss...

(BTW, with Morphine and Toxic, I just might be Maxx Claster's bitch...)

[and if I-L would make a VSTi of FPC, I'd give them some more of my hard-earned money!]

Hell, I don't need to use them in AU format as I also work in PC and am a PROUD licencee of FL Studio. I know how good the product is.

BTW, DirectWave, FPC & SliceX are not synthesizers ;)

I think what I should have said in my previous post is that the Logic plugs have more basis covered. Instead of having to try to find a electric piano in one of the mega synths included with FL, I can just load up EVP88, I want a realistic clavinet I load EVD6. My producing method is more, find the right tool for the job instead of trying to make my existing tools do something that they might not have been made to do. So I guess this is part of why I made that statement.

If my priority was mega-do almost everything synths, then sure IL would surely beat out Logic in that regard.

Ultimately it is all a matter of how each individual works

Oh ya, EVP88 rocks. If ya picked on ESM I would have agreed though ;)

2nd oh ya, how is it at all relevant what company coded what (re: your statement that Emagic coded Sculpture & Ultrabeat) Toxic 3 wasn't coded by ImageLine in theory as Maxx coded that and sold it as his own previous to it being included with FL. BTW, Emagic is part of Apple.

BTW , Emagic is now a part of Apple , but has not always been , which makes a big difference !
Now for the Maxx part you get a point .For Ultrabeat it is not only a synthesizer as it can load samples ....

Yes this is certainly true ... 8)

I tried the demo for biohazard..Its nice but I prefer toxic 3 to be honest.. I presume that I'll be able to have both installed anyway (if the upgrade is free that is)...

Post

I'm really liking Biohazard, I just want to know how I can access the 'online' patches when my DAW is not connected to the internet. Seems odd to make that a requirement to obtain patches :(

Why not just a zip file or something similar with patches in?! :?

It seems they want to restrict the extra presets to registered users and I guess the easiest way for now is via the plugin itself

If you have a PC with net and FL installed, you could download the presets form there then copy them over to your DAW.

+1 !!!
The presets are just awesome , if there was a zip file it will be licked too much quickly , unless they make it available through the "myflstudio" page of course !

I am a registered user :? I don't own FL, just Toxic III (and hence Toxic Biohazard given it's a free upgrade). I'd really rather not go through the trouble of having to install a host and Toxic Biohazard on my net machine simply to obtain presets that I should, as a registered user, have access too :(

I hope they do this!

Yay! I'm liking Biohazard. In particular, being able to choose the type of effects (not just Chorus and Delay, but 2 different configurable Effect slots).

The Pads (totc) in particular are sounding lovely.

Post

Yup - I have to say, kudos to TOTC for the patches - some of them are indredibubble :D

Post

Seems if I run the .reg file on my net machine and install only the IL download manager I can grab the presets - reflex said that was the case anyway so I'll give that a go.

[edit]
reflex just chimed in over at the IL forums to now state that this won't work :(

Seems daft to have to jump through so many hoops to access presets!

ToxicBio has better CPU usage and offers some extra features, when in sound and the "core" concept its the same. There will be all the same factory presets included, which you had in ToxicIII. So I'd advise you to switch, though, it's indeed your choice, tastes are different, maybe you don't like the new UI or something... just my IMHO (respecting your opinion and not forcing you in no way ;-))) ).

I was impressed alot as well! Frank's azz kikr as usually ;-)

This is very important point. And we gonna resolve it, giving as simple access as possible.

>>Why not just a zip file or something similar with patches in?! Confused

pssst don't tell anyone I share your opinion personally ;)))) Donwloader is not a perfect solution. However, zip's are not perfect as well. We are choosing the smallest evil here, in any case.

Already thanked you over at the IL forum Maxx, regarding looking into the preset issue, cheers!
