We're done. Prometheus is finished as of last night, all soundsets and presets completed. Now, it's just packaging, and we're on schedule for next Friday's release.

Final rough spec: 11.5 gigs samples, 1500 presets. We started on this in December, so that's not so bad, actually.

The $75 intro price lasts until Thursday the 14th, so get your sweetie to get Prometheus for you for Valentines Day. Nothing says love like a VST. But seriously, $75 is a stupid price, and even at $100 it's a steal. Still, $25 is $25, however, so now would be a good time to buy.

Crossgrade emails have begun going out to dBu users. Not just Wusik-format users, but all users of our Kontakt and Sampletank products, Anomaly(all formats) and Fortuity. Your Crossgrade price is even crazier: $65 til February 29th, $80 from March 1st-July 31st. And, anybody who buys anything from us til the 29th is eligible. Which brings me to this:

Just today and tomorrow left at the intro price. Maybe if enough folks get in on this, we'll extend it through the weekend, but no real promises about that.

The DATA installer has been uploaded tonight - cross-grade emails will go out to Anomaly customers tomorrow night....

The very first expander I will be working on will be a melding of Prometheus and Anomaly....

The upload will begin in a few minutes. We were going to do a multi-part video teaser about that process, but the Geneva Conventions prohibit torture.

But seriously, links for Prometheus will start going out later tonight. You may now order in the present tense, but still at the intro preorder price. For how long, who knows, but there is a 100% guarantee that the regular $100 price will be in effect no later than Monday, so if you want to save huge, now would be a good time to do so.

I've just bought it. I love Anomaly and couldn't resist other stuff you guys do.

BTW, is it a download or a posted DVD?

Thanks for your order. Prometheus is a download of about 6 gigs, but I don't have that figure in front of me. There is a DVD option for $10.

I think you and a few others are waiting patiently mate. If it's like usual the links will probably be staggered to help with the hammering their server is about to take

You guys are going to love this one.....the dbu product line just keeps getting better and better IMO. Looking forward to anomaly being integrated Daniel:) But honestly this release encompasses all the best points of the Dangerous Bear line of sounds and adds a few more IMO.

The first wave of links has gone out. What we're doing is staggering the downloads by how much has been uploaded so far. The upload is being slowed by my only having one 1 gig flash drive with which to transfer the files from the DAW to the web machine. I apologize for underestimating the time this part of the job would take.

The next stage of the upload will begin soon, and then you'll all get the next link, and then again with the third and final stage. We'll be caught up sometime tomorrow morning, but I don't want anyone to wait any longer to at least get stated. The total on the soundsets installers is 5.29 gigs, Prmetheus A, B and C. Then there are the instrument and DATA installers. I'm just about to upload the installation guide, but basically, you install the instrument first into your VST folder, then create the DATA folder, then the soundsets install into the DATA folder.

Thanks to everybody for being patient, and we think you'll find it worth the wait.

Any tips on which files to include (on 2 dvd-r) so as to be able to install it from dvd-r? Or can you burn them in any grouping whatsoever? For example I can break up the .bin files across 2 dvd-rs with no problem and it will prompt me for the next dvd, or no? Follow alphabetical order?

I'm sorting this very issue out for the disc version at the moment. In the installed instrument, there are A, B and C folders containing the samples. Each of these folders has its own installer. So the 3 soundsets installers will break up neatly across the 2 discs by putting A, with the Instrument and DATA installers on one, and B and C on the other. No prompt needed across DVDs, because A, B and C are self-contained, as long as all their parts are together.
