A quick look in the zip file shows me that this is really a simple plugin with only drive and tone. A proof of concept perhaps?
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here.

Woah!! This thing has just replace Studio Devil as my favorite crunch tone maker!!! I popped it into an eXT project where it replaced Studio Devil VGA and it fit perfect - even works great with the cab I was using (Boogex INTERNAL: Cabinet 8 4x10 Close).
So I love the tone...only problem is it takes quite a lot more CPU than Studio Devil...this rig (there is quite a bit more to it than I've explained) looks like it's using somewhere around 80% of my CPU...so I hope you can optimize it some eventually. Really fantastic tone/feel though
Thanks!!

Haven't tried Nick's new ampsim yet but does it have a cabsim too or it's just the amp?
If I go insane, please don't put your wires in my brain

thanx Nick. That's what I thought too (I was a bit puzzled by guitarzan's comment about using a cabsim after your plugin)NickCrow wrote:Simple_Guitar_Combo = Amp + Cabinet.

I just replaced Studio Devil in an existing project to check out Simple Guitar Combo and I was using Boogex in that project...plus I really do not like the sound without Boogex, so I guess it really isn't my fav...just nice and different.zeoy wrote:thanx Nick. I should consider my opinions more now before posting because I have just recently in the last few days started using a Fernandes Native Pro (w/sustainer) that I've had for years as my main axe because everything else I have needs fret work, so higher gain stuff sounds way better with this humbucker equipped guitar than with my normal guitars...I just flipped the Boost switch on the British crunch channel on Studio Devil VGA and that into Boogex with the 4x10 Close IR is even better! But I do like this Simple Combo...the cab sim needs work IMO...also should be able to bypass (can't beat IRs, really).

Of course we all know tone is 75% in the hands of the guitarist playing, so of course dimitar's clip sounds amazing- you are incredibly skilled
But I'll definitely check this out.
