Fair enough Maxx, just putting in my 2 cents!
I would say a matrix line for a pitch envelope would be nice if nothing else because pitch envs are important for many FM sounds (percussive/punchy sounds, etc...).
Thanks and best of luck with T4![/code]

ok, have added Velocity and LFO's destinations in the MIDI modulation matrix... appears to work. Yet no idea how can I fit into the design individual per oscillator pitch control, so probably this won't exist in the release, however, if I see a good way - I will do.kodama wrote:Fair enough Maxx, just putting in my 2 cents!

Thanks for the reply Maxx!
I know that T4 is not Octopus, etc...
I tend to think of simple-ish FM synths as perfect for bass stabs.
I have found that pitch envs and velocity to decay make for very expressive basses.
Of course, the aforementioned curves are quite excellent for constructing precise bass sounds as well, but I can understand if you think that they don't belong in the concept.
BTW - Your new stuff is quite nice!
OT - Hoping for Juice Pack for Mac one of these days, that vocoder is quite nice!

FYI Maxx. Beta2 crashes FLStudio7 on exit. Sometimes severe other not so. Seems to always require Ctrl Alt Delete to exit FLS.

Some more info. I had a project that had TBio in it. When I exited it froze (hung). I deleted it and no more. But if I just open a new project, and insert TBio I can exit fine. So I am not sure how to repeat exactly.

thx. I had it once here, too bad it happens randomly and it's difficult to find the the reason of it, most scary kind of bug - which happens not always.... ((( but it'll be fixed for sure.morelia wrote:Some more info. I had a project that had TBio in it. When I exited it froze (hung). I deleted it and no more. Just had a quick play with the beta and WOW!
Cool presets, beutiful clear GUI and simple but powerful midi learn.
But what impressed me most was how the sound reacted to modulation. Very very nice
If you haven't tried the beta and don't have ToxicIII or enough cash, don't do it
