I noticed in the manual that This Plug In will self terminate on 12/21/2012 at 11:11am.

Those People are saying that This Plug In doesn't produce as good bass as That Hardware, but I don't believe them.

Which reminds me -- has anybody checked to see if This Plug-In is Receptor-compatible?

If so, that means, of course, that you can unload all those other plug-ins and let it have total use of the Receptor.

That's funny, I was just considering getting rid of my computer and all my gear and just using this plugin. I mean, it's all basically redundant when this plugin can do everything anything else can do with superior sound and more intuitively.

you mean this hardware? well, that hardware can simulate all existing plugins with ease! the best software-simulator hardware ever made, also featuring immateriality and windows nag screens. :P

I posted this in that other thread, but it deserves its own so that everyone gets a chance to read it.

I want to warn you against This Plug-in and This Developer's asinine copy protection polices. This legitimate user has been frozen out of this amazing plug-in for more than six weeks while This Developer ignores my emails.

The copy protection system is challenge/response, and This Developer is very stingy about upgrades. There is no 'demo mode' - you need the response or the software doesn't work at all.

Here's my example:

Dec 05: buy the software- 1 authorisation
March 07: Spilled embalming fluid on This Computer, rebuild entails a new authorisation
October 07 - replace This DAW after accidentally tossing PC out a 10 story window, using authorisation 3. Warn developer that I will be upgrading to That OS shortly and would like to run dual boot. He (That Guy) tells me that won't be possible.

So I've used up 3 authorisations in 24 months. Now, having completely gone That OS upgrade (with This Host 32bit as the host), This Developer is refusing to give me another authorisation. The software is unusable without it. That Guy is ignoring my emails.

This is extremely unprofessional and, to be quite frank, an absolute rip off. I have plugs from That Company, That Other Company, That New Company That's Not The Other Company, and Some Other Company, and not one of these companies has given me this grief through the same cycle of upgrades. I also have an This Dongle which covers me for even more legit plugins. This Developer has the worst user relations issues I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

Aside from this, This Plug-In is buggy and freezes up frequently at low latencies. This Plug-In is vastly over-rated and lacks both definition and dynamics. STAY AWAY.

Like I said, DO NOT BUY THIS PLUG-IN. Feel free to tell all of your friends, colleagues and fellow musicians.

debra1rlo,

I can see where you've gone wrong. Some-one has misled you.

You're using "this amazing plug-in" which is not the right one.

You need to get "This Plug In" from the official source. [Accept no substitutes]

... which is amazing, by the way. :)

As i've heard, the current beta introduces quite realistic antigravity emulation. The manual advises to keep your windows shut while using it. But then again, you maybe experienced a lack of mains power...
