the new addition is that VST plug-in streaming feature....

Not a big difference to any other vst plug-in in usage...

yeah like I said, emperors new clothes.

It's the same MPX series sound as ever. It's not like the hardware interface was ever difficult to use.

Do you have an official statement for that? I could not find anything that proves they have the same algorhytms and engine.

I think the MX Engine differes slightly from the MPX series...

the MX has 17 reverb algos ad the MPX have the 5 classic ones...

I'm sure they are all based on Lexiocn classic algos, but I don't know exactly...

Hi all...i was looking around for the MX500, but it seems to be discontinued...anyone has a clue? i mean, maybe it had some "bug", sio they stopped producing it...or maybe it was such a good deal that the PCM sales were decreasing too much! i mean, that fireware audio streaming was a killer feature...

I love my MPX500 and to be honest, it's just the perfect unit for any of the genres you've listed. I have stopped using it with my DAW due to all the hassle with delay compensation. BUT, if I get Sonar7 with its hardware latency compensation the Lex is coming back into full use. It just sounds right. Call up a preset tweak a knob or two and you've got a perfect reverb sound. I don't even save tweaked presets, since it's so easy to do edits live.
