Actually, you do not have all of part B. The bin files go through part "i". I'm beginning the upload of the last of it now, unfortunately, I fell asleep at about 4 this morning and didn't finish. I'm back on it now.

Congratulations on the release, guys! :)

It would be cool if you gave us .sfv or .md5 files so we can make sure none of the files were downloaded improperly: http://www.quicksfv.org/

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look at this.

Meanwhile, Part B links have gone out, it's all uploaded. Part C will take less time, it's much smaller, only about 1.1 gigs. We'll be done late this afternoon, and everybody who buys now will get a single, non-staggered download as soon as C is up.

Ok, part 3 is up, and emails sent.

Hi Jon,

Gratz on the release, just installed it and seem to come against a problem. I am using Sonar 7 and after performing the VST scan and selecting Prometheus it loads Wusikstation up instead.

biodiode, I don't think Prometheus is a vst Instrument. It's a Soundset for the wusik engine and it comes with a own Skin for the wusik VST.

Hi Echopark,

Yep Prometheus is a vst in it's own right but uses the wusik engine to power it. Anyway I solved my own problem, if you navigate to where you installed Prometheus you will find a smallfile labelled Prometheus WINI File.

Open this file up in notepad and edit the line under Data Path to the Prometheus DATA path. For me it was still pointing to the Wusikstation one as it must have picked this up when scanning the VST as I did not get the option to change where I had put the DATA for Promoetheus.

Adrian, thanks for picking up on this, and for locating the solution. All of our internal testing never found this problem with host scanning. When installed, the WINI file is blank as to that pathway information. What is supposed to happen is that when Prometheus is opened in your host, it should ask for the DATA folder, and then you navigate to it from the prompt browser, and this is what happened every time we tested the Instrument and DATA installers on computers where we each use Wusikstation. I hope that this problem is not universal. If it is, we'll work with William for a comprehensive solution.

Prometheus is indeed a VST, with its own dlls and DATA folder, meant to be an end in itself whether you're a Wusik user or not. We have licensed the WusikEngine form Wusik.com because we love its excellent sound quality and deep synthesis power, which make it an ideal platform for our samples.

The choice to license the engine rather than make just another library for Wusikstation was made so we can sell our sound design in this format to folks outside of the Wusik community. If you like the way the soundset sounds, if you're interested in wavesequencing but want more than what the Korg offers, if you need an inexpensive but high-quality sample-player synth solution, Prometheus is well worth a look.

I hope if anyone else gets the same problem they will either post here or e-mail you direct. What would be helpful is if they post the app/daw that they are using for Prometheus as it may just be Cakewalk thing.

I've had one email from another user about this issue, and passed him the word about your solution and asked him some info. I'm a Sonar user, but this didn't happen to me, but I did load it in Chainer before scanning in Sonar. I would therefore suggest to Cakewalk users, if this is a Cakewalk scan thing, to open in Chainer or some other small host first, to set the DATA path. As I learn more about this, I'll pass the word.

John, May I ask if Prometheus VST is based on Wusik 4.2.4 engine or an older build?
