finally finished my remix of synthgeek's "clear".
may have overstepped the mark on the compression a little as i wanted a really "smashed" sound, but as it not looks like a rectangle in a wave editor i may have overdone it.
anyways, enjoy

This is gorgeous. Love the string work and your guitar sounds/edits are smooth as silk as always. Great remix. Wonderful texture and spread to the mix.
There are a few moments where the mix gets slightly crushed by the compression, but it does have that "wall of sound" quality I like.

Beautifully done! I really need to get to work on my mix, hopefully I'll have it done by the end of the week. I've got the tracks loaded into live so that is the first step.
Anyway... wonderful sounds.

@ jazzy, thanks mate. glad you enjoyed it. i decided to make the strings a big part of the remix, the basis is the fast staccato line from the original tune which i really liked.
i've definately overdone the compression in a few places but the "wall of sound" feel was what i was after, i really wanted that smashed and glassy feel for the tune where everything thuds and the highs get really fried. i might go back and be a little more subtle for another mix but i reckon as is it works more than it fails.
@ mr stew, thanks
@synthgeek, glad you liked it mate, let me know if you need a better copy.
@justin, glad you liked it, look forward to your mix.
cheers,
rosllow.

I just now grabbed this, mate. I didn't want to hear it til I was done remixing it myself.
Always glad to get more audio from you.

oh my rosllow
It's great, and even if I hated it I'd be amazed at the engineering job
It's so clear. My ears are completely tired from remixing fora gajillion hours and your remix is the only thing that's making them happy today
