I downloaded it. But the presets are not there. No silky bells etc., What happened ? savi host opens it but only 0 to 31 init are seen. where did i go wrong ?Artvera wrote:Here is link to download:

When you downloaded it, there is also some info from Stefan's webpage where I downloaded it and also screenshots where you can see some windows which are showed when you click on some buttons and also some demo mp3 from few presets. You can hear that the preset Silky Bells produces really very clear and crystal sound - I love it much !
The button "Global Edit" does the trick to change GUI.
Enjoy it

uploading a humongous song to my music host (17.6mb/10.45 minutes...on dialup!!)
so i will get on it while i'm uploading.
look forward to writing a couple more banks for the synthie, it is a really sweet one, Vera, you were right...one of the most versatile i've encountered, that modulation stuff is amazing in it.
even got my old rythm guitarist into that one earlier.

off to work...

sadly it seems that VanillaCompressor (and Chunkware) has gone vapourware, as it sounds from http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 87#2947787
that one was indeed one hell of promising compressor freebie..
i uploaded the file to the YahooGroup archive anyway, hoping to see ChunkWare coming out again and going on the development biz..
Peace out

but after a few analog synths ( roland sh101/juno6/60/106, micromoog, arppe 2600/oddyssey etc) programming these things is cake.
now if i had any brains at all, i woulda kept all them REAL synths...
but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....
that's a guitar player for ya...

I sold it for $700 to get back to finish college. Today, some 35 years later, I can't stop thinking that it is somewhere collecting dust and being neglected, probably strings broken... like I lost a friend! It was 145 centimeters long (thus the model number), dual choir (4' and 8') single manual with a lute stop (damper) one the 8' choir. I had the leather plectra changed out for delrin and it really sounded sweet. As I recall, it had 57 keys, 114 strings, that had to be tuned each time you wanted to play. Needless to say, it become quite adept at setting the temperment and tuning... about five to ten minutes.
To buy one today would set you back about $10,000!

oh man, i'll spare ya the two les paul stories then!!!
one 56.... sold for 65 bux...(too painful to talk about)
one 58 standard, broken headstock, 50 bux...
in BOTH cases the mofo i was with had 5 bux more than me and scored...
the 56 was destroyed.
refinished, vegamatic switces-ed, DIMARZIO SUPER DISTORTIONS...
ouch.
the 58?
once repaired.....the f**ker got 40 f**king grand for it.
and then ripped me off on a deal where i restored 5 classic tube amps for him..
a couple were close to full rebuilds.
40 fuckin grand...for a 50 dollar LP.
65 bux for a virtually new in case 56 les paul.
gawd.
i would have kept both.

Hi all who is interested about Jewel synth !
I received another full bank from Jimi for this beautiful synth. Thank you very much Jimi
I created 16 presets for it also and if you are interested to hear that this synth can produce not only music sound but also some interesting FX sounds, you can download Jimi's banks and my bank here:
http://www.artvera-music.com/kvr/Jewel_banks.zip
When you will try FX sounds, just press mid C and keep the pushed key at longer time. At some presets you can hear how time modulation produces the variable sound feedback.
I hope that you can get a better imagery about this small "jewel"
