just curious what happened to the korg legacy ms-20 harware controller. it looks like the software is still around but not this controller package. was it a flop? or a limited edition gem?

I think, it was too costly to manufacture it for only to sell software. Now Korg softwares are dongled with a much cheaper way.

and it was also limited (that's what they told us when they shipped the 1st batch)

And, they made it 2/3 scale, i.e. it's got toy sized keys. I think that's what really killed it because it can't be played as a real keyboard. I've got one, it looks good but the toy keys are just embarassing, I never use it!

I also have a real MS10 with full size keys! Looks and sounds great. The MS-20 soft synth sounds very similar but it's just a tad soul-less and clean. Much easier to control though.
