I think the mix is just about there. actually it confuses, part of me wants to say... hmmm, some of the extra verb is making it slightly muddy, and some of me wants to say... hmmm, maybe I am not 100 percent sure on that...
so, perhaps to err on the side of caution is best? I dunno, perhaps I would look to eq some of the highs from the verb, and or lower amounts of verb here and there...
although, I would also say, dismissing my suggestion would not be wrong at all. as I am not sure, I would need to hear a second mix, or actually be tweaking knobs with you to really get a feel for it.
cheers
that is pretty radical. I wonder why addictive drums wont let you use your own samples... or maybe even the company doesnt add more elctronica kits...
right now I am synthing all my drums on rapture, but it is loads of work. but I have looked at AD drumz lots, and the guy is on kvr somewhere... it is a very nice program. I do think your snr came out great. I wonder what the next major version of AD is going to look like, I might take another look at that program then
cheers again

It certainly pisses all over DFH and the rest. They have brought out an expansion of even more retro kits.ckatrun411 wrote:HalberMensch wrote:BTW snare = addictive drums (totally fab app!) + steinberg valve + some UAD LA2ackatrun411 wrote:Hi, I love what you have done with the snare... now, this track is very cool I agree with the others on that....

I thing the reason that they don't have the facility to put your own sounds on there is because the kits are heavily multisamples and and filtered and tweaked.
Haven't tried gutting the sound banks out, but it sounds like a very intricate job they have done. You can get tonal changes right across the skins! Hence I could get nice pongy noises.
First class bit of software.

Thank you... and on behalf of my friend who played the guitar.
