Ok, so I just had a few questions about the library.

First of all, how playable in real time is the library? If you have other guitar libraries, how does it compare in this area?

Next, it says it has a chords articulation. Is this recordings of chords, or notes recorded with proper attack to use in chords?

Does anyone have an demos they have made for DG2? I'd love to hear them!

There is an audio demo of arpeggios on the site, but no explanation of how they work. Anyone care to expand on this feature?

Ok, I'm sure I'll have more questions. But that'll get me started. Thanks!

Just a quick reply,

The chord articulation is an articulated patch with strum noises ( loops and samples ). The patch contain a separate kontakt instruments called pick. It contains the attacks when the guitar strings are hit with the pick. In this way you can change the volume of the attacks or just mute them easily from the main Kontakt's window.

I can't compare DirectGuitar 2.0 with other libraries but I think that nothing is better than a FULL version of a patch taken from DirectGuitar 2.0 lite FREE to download if you need an exemple how DirectGuitar sounds.

Thanks Andrea! I actually already have the free version(both 1 and 2), and also the Kontakt 3 library(which the guitars are all yours, right?). What got me wanting this is using that library and saying to myself that I could use a couple of other articulations. Then I saw this!

Ah ok, I see.

Yes the guitars and basses on Kontakt 3 libraries are mine but they are from DirectGuitar lite 1.5 which doesn't contains any key switchings and other new features that the 2.0 has.

Sure, there are lots of new articulations on DirectGuitar 2.0 plus it is an entire sampling of a strat guitar. All the pickups were sampled!!!
