I must apologize: I've read and understand the license terms in the manual only now. Sorry.

It's not saving new presets in Cubase Studio 4 at all (I lost a couple of really nice sounds  ). Also there is some general hard to predict/describe erratic behavior. Otherwise a very very interesting synth.

Good luck.

There are several hosts where Olga's state is not restoring properly. I hope to have a fix for this today.

I really like the sound of Olgo, but I am not in the market for a new synth. The only thing I don't really like is I don't get what some of the controls do. What's the go with the labels? I guess I should read a manual but to a certain degree, I normal get away without it.

I'm not sure I like this idea to make it such a secret - was it fun to look for the button on the gui? No, it wasn't - I see it as a waste of time.

I respect White Tie's/Schwa's wish to make it a secret, but I can't help finding it a bit stupid and probably not exactly the best marketing idea ever.

But one man's nuissance might be another man's joy.

"fun" or "joy" is a part of it, jens, but there is a more practical purpose...to encourage the user to experiment outside the box, to cast off normal preconceptions of what they "need" to do to get the sound they want. It may make it harder to find the sound you THINK you want, but in return you may find an even better sound that you didn't even realize you were looking for.

Thats exactly what i like about it.It's like having a synth where you don't know what all the controls do so it encourages xperimentation.Half the fun was cliking on the different buttons and hearing the change in the sound, not knowing what to expect.A tweakers synth if ever there was one! :D

Thanks for buying a license!

The license file isn't a registry file (windows just thinks that because its extension is "key"). You don't need to open the key file, simply place it in the same directory as the Olga dll, and Olga should find the key and stop whining about being unlicensed.

Hope that helps.

Hey Schwa .. it worked great, many thanks .. :D
