+1 for that, really looking forward to the AU release...dunno if I can bear a 2 weeks wait though!
(saying that, looks like some of the minor problems are being ironed out before it hits the mac which can only be a good thing!)
Hi Schwa btw (I'm 'brokenstylus' over on the Reaper forums)

I'd love some! What about a full set of down and dirty presets for bass and lead?
Seriously, we'd be happy to have more diversity in the presets. I'd love to hear what users are coming up with. Good patches that get posted here http://www.stillwellaudio.com/forums/vi ... ?f=35&t=77 may end up as factory presets if they stand out from what's already packaged in.

Just wondering. What effect does the red patch cord in the left back panel have? I noticed that you can turn it on/off (plugged/unplugged) by right-clicking on it but it doesn't seem to do anything. No mention in the manual that I saw either.

Ah, ignore that right click box. Ooops! Olga is mono unless the effects are put into stereo mode (bottom right switch), which will plug the second cord in. Critical stuff, I'm sure you'll agree...

Absolutely great synth, just what the sterile world of analogue "emulation" plugs needs.
My only wish would dbe snappier envs (youve fixed that in your test beta) and as suggested separate controls for Drive and "Instability". I spent a long time trying to EQ out noise from a sound because I couldnt eradicate it at source, try as I might.

OK! Olga v1.00.05 is released http://www.stillwellaudio.com/?page_id=37 .
More shape to the portamento curve, amp envelopes, and especially the filter envelopes, finer control of portamento and envelope controls at short settings, support for midi program change messages.
As before, if you are upgrading from v1.00.02 or earler, please read this http://www.stillwellaudio.com/forums/vi ... ?f=35&t=79 . If you are updating from v1.00.03 or later, you can install right over the old one.
I do want to say that "more shape" does not mean "in-your-face log envelopes." Olga is her own girl and with modern supersnappy envelopes she sounds, to me, schizophrenic. With Olga's Bezier envelopes we were deliberately going for what White Tie calls a "nicotine-soaked" vibe. I think the new envelopes are good, they are more awake than before, but they are still Olga.
Thanks especially to bmanic for some useful discussion on the subject!

Hi There,
loving Olga - very raw, just what I need!
Quick question - is there any way to get an 'initial' patch?
Cheers

Just a nag screen I think, just like all the other Schwa plugins. Awesome demos if you ask me. Just remember to be honest and pay for the plugins that you end up using.
Cheers!
