Yikes! Luckily, I bought Black Bass when it came out and I already have two of the Chris Hein basses. So I don't need any more. But I will say that if you haven't at least looked at these basses, they are worth every penny.

Uh, yeah, and that is off topic. That's economics, it happens. But there is no reason to bring it into threads. Can't it just be about the products as intended and leave all these stupid opinions to another thread that is actually ABOUT them?

It just gets really old. If you think this is the only thread I'm talking about, you're wrong though. This crap happens all the time, and it ruins too many threads.

Anyways, Scarbee deserves the support, and anyone who doesn't have any of his stuff should try it. Great support as well.

Price Alert - 20% raise from March 10!!

Due to the historical low Dollar currency that seems to keep on dropping in value we have decided to list our products in EURO from March 10 and at same time we raise prices with 20% to set a more realistic price for us, as we are an european company our expenses are in DKR/EURO - but our main income has been in USD so the low dollar has reduced our profit so much that it is no longer acceptable for us to sell our products in USD.

As an example: september 10, 2001 we paid 8.91 DKR for 1 dollar. Today we pay 4.90 for 1 dollar. Since 2001 we have not raised prices of our products - but only lowered them. Compared to 2001 prices we get 45% less from sales just due to the currency change.

Your point? I read the link. He talked about the dollar as his reason for raising. Nowhere did he bring Bush or politics into it. I'm not even arguing what the reason is for the bad dollar. I just get so tired of people who feel that every time a price is mentioned, it's their place and duty to insert their political opinion. It's not just politics, it's religion too. But that's for another post. The whole argument is. Which is why I'm not actually defending or agreeing with the actual points. Just leave that crap in another post instead of bringing it in here.

Of course people will do what they want, regardless of how obnoxious it is. But that's my take on it. I won't speak of it any more because it WILL take the topic into HPC eventually.
