That's a risk I'm willing to take.
Now come on, out with it!
Sorry, don't wanna be swimming with the fishes

It will be changed in due time :)

Seems like a strange move to optimise JHE and ME but not the parent program. if that is what it can be seen as.

Now come on, what do you know?

Post

Well, while waiting for the release of X-gear, the manual is now available.

I get a laugh outta this (though it's been seen mentioned lot's o' times)

November 2007, you'd think SOMEONE would change that!

So now that we have that out of the way, when are we going to be seeing X-Gear and Metal?
And what about that "JMP100"? 2203? 1959 MKII?
Phase 90 EVH script switch?
You find descriptions of all the models in AT Metal on the StompIO page: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/stompio/

Post

Yeah, the StompIO page is where I saw the "JMP100" description. The only problem is there were a number of 100-watt amps from Marshall during the 1970s under the moniker "JMP". So it doesn't actually tell us which amp it was. Is it a 1959 Super Lead MKII? A 2203 Master Volume? Something else entirely?

The image shown for the amp in question isn't even of the right model. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/stompio/img ... alLead.jpg is actually just the 50-watt JCM 800 from AmpliTube 2.

And there is no mention at all of the Phase 90 model (or any AT Metal cabs) on the StompIO page. So referencing it isn't going to do a bit of good.

Has it been confirmed that the Phase 90 is included?

Squids wrote:and yes it definitely DOES have a model of an MXR Phase 90 in it. In fact, I confirmed it today with the CEO and you want to know the funny thing? He said it was because "Redshift" wanted it so badly.

Hey, I found the answer to my question about which Marshall the "JMP100" is modeled on. It's what I had originally suspected, the 2203 Master Volume!

http://www.gearwire.com/ikmultimedia-am ... rough.html

At 3:35 Dan Boatman lists the "Marshall JCM 2203" as one of the amps modeled in Metal. (It's actually supposed to be the JMP 2203.) In the early '80s the JMP 2203 was reissued as the JCM 800 2203, with only cosmetic changes, and a 50-watt version was also released, called the 2204. The JCM 800 in AmpliTube 2 is the 50-watt 2204. It remains to be seen if the JMP 2203 in AT Metal will sound any different than the JCM 800 2204 in AmpliTube 2 modified with the 100W EL34 power amp.

The Marshall in Metal I believe is the JMP SuperLead 1959 MKII.

Also the Wah is not the T-Wah but the Vox 847. (the one in Hendrix is my personal 846 which I LOVE...)

Yes, talk about spoiled... my own pedals. The only problem is that I send them over to Italy and don't see them for a year. But the model is worth the wait.

GL-100 eh? Hmmmm. ;)
