After two years of work, we have our first product to present !

http://two-notes.com/index_eng.html

The firm is called OROSYS, and has been created 2 months ago. We are french, and we are going to release the Torpedo VB101, under the Two-Notes name. It is a direct box for guitar and bass amplifiers with cabinet, microphone miking and studio acoustics simulation, with the possibility to choose the microphone among 8 chosen carefully, its position, the cabinet (a lot, more and more with each update and measure), control with a PC/MAC and USB, analog and digital outputs...

The website has been uploaded yesterday, so its appearence will change a lot. See you at the Musikmesse  (stand 4.2 E52A)

Hey !

It seems to be something to keep a look at when it will become available and have audio demonstrations on the website.

Bon courage pour la salon et le lancement ;).

so there is a load inside? how many watts? (or do i still need a speaker connected? hope not)

Thanks everybody !

Musik 4 Machines > there is a load inside, our 80 Watts Name of Sound Amplifier head works well with it (Heavy Metal Powaa). You can plug behind a speaker, a mixing table, a headphone... And the peace with your neighbours is included

We will work on audio demos quickly, the last week was really a challenge, now we are ready for the Muskimesse

I forgot to say that 150 Watts RMS is the maximum power you can send to the device

So is this like the SPL/Tonehunter thingy? as in all analog signal path.

or is part of it digital?

EDIT: sorry just saw it on the website.

However the question remains which parts are digital.

is the emulation part analog? and just with an additional AD convertor at the end?

Post

The analog parts : the load and the power attenuator.

The outputs available are analog and digital, so there is an additional DA convertor at the end. The simulation works with sampling frequencies up to 192 kHz.

The final version of the website will be launched during March, after the Muskimesse, with the list of features
