Hi,
I've searched the IL Forums & can't find a solution that works. I've turned fixed buffer sizes on & tried the reset on transport options, but every combination doesn't work.
Everything is fine until I press stop on the transport controls (after pressing play). Then FL gives a hint msg in the topleft corner saying there was an error in the plugin & it's now been disabled. The only way I can work with amplitube again is to reload it. & then I can't use FL's transport controls because the plugin will crash again.
I've posted this problem in IL forums, & emailed allen at esoundz about this too. I hope this problem gets fixed as I only really use FLS7. It'd be nice if the IK people could talk with the Imageline people & see what the problem is. Thanks
EDIT: Allen told me to go through IK's tech support procedure on IK's website, so I've done that. If/when they get back to me I'll post agn..

Just a thought -
Does the FL "Stop" send any MIDI messages out to VSTs?
IF so that may be the problem - AmpliTube does not respond well to any MIDI except those used in the host to automate its controls

Try making a .fst preset of the default start-up configuration of the plugin and then always drag this to the mixer when you want to use it.
Also, make sure you're using the latest version of FLS7. Earlier versions didn't have the wrapper fix that Reflex created.
Oh, and you definitely want the "Fixed Buffer Sizes" checkmarked.
Here are my settings that are enabled in the plugin's interface:
Send loop...
Send note off...
Check current program...
Invalidate program...
Rendering mode...
Use fixed size...
Automatically save...
I also have the "Reset on Transport" option off because certain functions on IK plugins don't behave well with it enabled.

I used the .fst method, but that doesn't really make a difference as the basic settings are remembered as long as you have the save plugin settings options ticked, which I do. So your solution didn't fix the problem of using FL's transport controls with Amplitube.
I can confirm that the problem has been fixed in FL8, but remains in FL7. Unfortunatley FL8 is still in RC form, thus it's licence keeps expiring (IL's policy) so, for my main projects I have to use another host, which is a real PITA. Gol knows when FLS8's coming out..!?!
