As I said, the website is only a teaser we have done for the Musikmesse. More information will be available after, with audio demos, the list of features, some photographs...

The price will be around 1500 euros for the VB101 (mono -> stereo with load / power attenuator).

So would this replace, say, a POD? Or augment it?

The POD is a guitar amplifier and guitar effects simulator, whereas the Torpedo simulates only the cabinet, the microphone and the acoustic used to record a real guitar amplifier. It can be plugged after a POD without its cabinet simulation activated, or a tube amplifier head
