On both mytiger and Leopard system the vst Augustus loop crashes before
the gui is even loaded.This happens in Plogue Bidule Cubase 4.1.3 and SX3.1.1

Can you send me a crash log?
One possibility is that you don't have the right font installed - not that it should crash then, but there seems to be a problem in this version in the code that would make it cope without the font. Could you see if
/Library/Fonts/GillSans.dfont
is on your system?
