Well, most of you don't know, but Ben's day job is being a fortune teller.

And as such he knew, 8 years ago, that Kjaerhus Audio will be absent from the scene for some time.

So, as he foresaw this, he decided to call his newly emerging web site "KvR" which stands for :

"Kjaerhus Vanished Recently"

KVR Audio is the Internet's number one news and information resource for open standard audio plugins. We report new releases, product announcements and product updates (major and minor) for all VST Plugins, DirectX Plugins and Audio Units Plugins. We manage a fully searchable audio plugin database (updated daily), and offer many free member services including user reviews, product update notifications and a very active discussion forum. We also host official support forums for many plugin developers plus the official Receptor support forum.
That won't hold up because it was KvR before Muse took it over.
I would really like to know the REAL OFFICIAL ANSWER here !! :-)

Tim: Look a few posts up, to jupiter8's post. There is the answer that is factual. Truth, however, may be of a higher order and may include multiple realities. Hence this and the many other threads asking that musical question, "What does KVR stand for?"

Whatever it is, it definitely is not named after the terrible Kazakhstan Vagina Revolt (I believe the correct pronunciation of the second term is "Vageen"). Even Borat's sister is rumored to have withheld sex for the 5 minute duration of that cruel "wild cat" strike.
