Problem with XGear

I find XGear to be very useful and well done program but there is a serious flaw that occurs whether or not I run standalone or in my DAW. I have it configured in the MIDI panel/dialog, and it seems to remember, that Wah pedal is assigned to MIDI controller 11, expression. This works fine until I reload XGear. Upon reload the wah pedal does not work at all... until I revisit the MIDI Dialog where again it indicates that controller 11 is assigned. As soon as I bring up the MIDI dialog the pedal starts working again. Why would I have to visit the MIDI dialog for the pedal to work?

Make sure you let IK tech support know about this. Could be a bug or they can troubleshoot your system and solve a problem.
This forum can be useful for IK stuff but remember it isn't the IK forum so... better to contact IK directly if you run into a problem. It's 1.0 so there very well could be a few bugs. But they should get resolved shortly if there are. But it can also be user error or a glitch related to other software/system stuff so... that's what the tech support is for.

Well I realize that this is not an IK forum. The reason I posted here was because I was hoping that someone could verify that they are seeing the same thing using different machines or DAW's since this is the closest thing we have to an IK forum.
Anyway it is a non-issue now that the problem has been resolved by IK in version 1.1.1.

Yeah, it bums me out that they don't have a forum AND the popular Yahoo Amplitubers group has had my membership pending for weeks. I guess I don't make the cut.SaganTech wrote:Well I realize that this is not an IK forum. I understand wanting to keep the level of conversation good but it blows when the gate keeper is asleep.
