this synth is very well done. the sound is very big and dense. the presets are great examples and quite good. it's a tad confusing to use though but no complaints besides that.

* Smaller GUI. I cannot go larger than 1024x768
* Remove the effects, most seam to use external anyways.
* Remake this with SynthMaker or at least with CK's modules to get the cpu lower.
the gui i can see, but please do NOT remove the effects!

i assume the next version will not be free? how close are you to release and if it's not going to be free what will be the price?

It is a nice bit of kit that makes some inspiring noises. Thanks.

Like what? I've just had a snoop in my registry (which i know like the back of my hand,) and couldn't find anything untoward.

I can't wait to download this synth & see what I can do when I get my latest version of SE. I DO have an issue with the .exe installer, & agree that there's no earthly reason to save the synth as an .exe when SE saves as a .dll. Why, if it's not for pay, do you have an .exe????? Also, you need to have either 2 outputs or 4 outputs, because Orion Pro will freak & the sound will be unbalanced with 3 outputs. The Team Air thingy scares me also. Otherwise, the sound examples I've heard are choice.

Just as an example:
Spybot - Search & Destroy => Tools => System Internals => Check:
you should find something there... I'm not talking about this Genesis.exe in particular (didn't install it) but, usually, every install leaves some tracks on your registry.

I can just repeat myself here: SynthEdit doesn't save the VST as an exe, just the DLL, so why the install(?)

Another powerful tool is named CCcleaner or so... but you need to be carefull: you could delete some system files too!

Don't worry, i know what i'm doing (although, i did make one mistake, with CCleaner, and that was ticking the 'hotfix uninstallers' option...that gave me hell when trying to remove IE7, so much so, i had to format, since there was so much fannying about involved to get my comp back where i wanted it, it was actually quicker, and easier, to wipe it altogether.) :P
