Well, new album's done and dusted (out june-ish), so I've started on the next, thought I'd share a cut.

broken hands for careful minds
160kbps / ~6.5 min / ~7.6mb / as usual: unreleased, unmastered, not necessarily finished.

Update apr 27-
live video track now available at archive.org.

note: this is a direct feed from the TSS a/v rig, and also heavily compressed for reasonable filesize, so quality and production values are not all that. More of a demo to facilitate me getting gigs.

cheers, sk

I really like this new, almost Dirty Three-like direction that you've taken.

I can not listen to this enough times this morning. Really nice track, stk. Very subtle, yet emotional work.
Nicely done. Looking forward to more.

Oh you mean the climactic guitary thing? Well I've long been a fan of good 'ol epic shoegazing spacerock, only recently got my guitar serviced spic'n'span and decided to try to integrate it with some electronics :)

Awesome. Usually after the 10th listen I give up and just say "this song's a keeper."

Downloaded.
I'll listen to it this evening.
THanks for sharing it.

Wonderful piece of music.
So beautiful and subtle.

Is the album you have just completed in this style? Coz if it is...   :!:

Thanks again for listening.

Some tracks are, although as this is the second completed track from the next album, there is a bit of progression/difference.

I'll have a lofi-ish preview of the completed/soon to be released album online soonish (as it's on a label, I unfortunately can't post full quality tracks). :)

cheers,

I'd appreciate it if you could PM me with any new stuff you preview here, as it would be a shame to miss out on more music in this vein.
Thanks

Yeah, me too for sure, stk.

Your name is so little, I overlook your posts too often and my laptop died so I can't check every thread title anymore.

Can I tell you before I dash off, though, that this song is breathtaking! I can't get over it, it's a damn fine composition.

That was awesome
