You must remember that those plugins that are available for plugiator are of extraordinary quality. Among them you'll find the best Minimoog, Prophet, Odyssey and Hammond B3 emulations EVER CREATED. If you need limitless possibilities and tons of plugins, then of course V-Rack is preferrable choice, but I would rather have a package of few, but best of the best plugins, unsurpassed by anything else, which is what Plugiator basically is.

Hi, I've been messing with the Plugiator for a couple of weeks now, and I'm enjoying the quality of the plug-ins. The Prodyssey in particular has a very warm sound - the pads are fitting in well with tracks I'm doing. I'll know more as I play more. The Manager is PC only at the moment, but a Mac version has been promised.

Thanks for the replies.
@ CapnLockheed.
I think we would all like one of those V-Racks but, I'm doubtful about them keeping the price low.
@reSEQUENCer
Thanks for the feedback.
I guess it is on my wish list...

Also don't forget that the emulations are very similar (if not the same) as those for the Creamware ASB boxes, and the (now SonicCore) Scope platform. So searching for info as to the Prodyssey emulation should include comments made by owners of those as well.

They are the same, of course. Scope, ASB, and Plugiator (and also ASX expansion for CME controllers) are just different hardware platforms running the same software synths, just like PCs, Macs, Receptor, V-Rack, etc are different hardware for running VSTi plugins.cram1960 wrote:Also don't forget that the emulations are very similar (if not the same) as those for the Creamware ASB boxes, and the (now SonicCore) Scope platform.

Hi.
I am interested in how good the vocodizer sounds on plugiator.
Use Audio has no audio demo yet.
You can't order a unit, check and return it if you don't like vocodizer because you have to register for downloading vocodizer...
Only demo I found on the net was at AMAZONA in a test of the Creamware Noah. I liked it, it sounded promising. But the Noah can provide any synth as carrier while the plugiator can't do this
Use audio only responded that vocodizer for plugiator has a carrier based on Lightwave. They also sent a html docu but I couldn't see anything to modify the carrier. External carriers seem also to be impossible because plugiator has only one input.
Any plugiator owners here with vocodizer experience?
Beside other products in this price range (named V-Box, Blofeld) none has a mic input needed for vocoding. Other products like Korg R3 or Radias are more expensive and referring to my taste their vocoding sounds not as good as vocodizer on Noah...
Thanks folks!
