Thanks for the wonderfull plug-ins.
And they are free ? Its donationware ?
I cant belive it. They are better than everything i tried
and they are the firsts that sound, should I say "analog".
They really enhance my sounds without "messing up" the original quality.
They are smooth, sound natural, easy to operate.
The only ones that are in this class is Stillway Audio ones, imho.

I was almost pulling the trigger for a UAD card , but after hearing this plug-ins and StillWell I dont think so.Download SOphist wrote:bootsie, you seem to have a cult thing starting...
With this plugs ( compression and Eq's ) and maybe Voxengo Pristine
im thinking staying native.
No hardware headaches, no learning curve , less money, etc.
Im I wrong or what ?

how should i know? i'm just a posting algorithmccosta wrote:Im I wrong or what ?
i myself am thinking of buying an UAD for ages, but constantly postpone the decision.
but you're right, you can go a long way with a few selected freeware (like bootsie's). It will just take you time to discover, trial and choose them, but - hey! - that's half of the fun.
cheers!

Im not only into freeware ( lots of junk out there ), but also some good low-cost plugs.Download SOphist wrote:how should i know? i'm just a posting algorithmccosta wrote:Im I wrong or what ?![]()

This are the quality plug-ins I was looking for, that can sound really good but I cant compare to the "hardware" stuff ( Uads, etc). I can listen to the rough demos but I dont have the real thing.
I used to have have a Yamaha DSP2416, nice reverbs etc, but a pain in a....
and I needed a sampler and more inputs.

UAD is the best piece of DAW hardware/software that I've purchased- no kidding! At first, I was just trying to save some cycles, but then I realised how frackin' good everything sounds. In addition, the company knows how to treat its customer base...always throwing significant discounts (coupons) at us; great customer support; always significant product releases.ccosta wrote:I was almost pulling the trigger for a UAD card , but after hearing this plug-ins and StillWell I dont think so.Download SOphist wrote:bootsie, you seem to have a cult thing starting...

I'm not saying chuck the rest. IMO, there's a lot of flexibility in having a multi-card system that runs UAD plugs and the great stuff coming from all of the fantastic devs on this board. It's a good balance.
I've got nothing to sell...am I on the right site?

This thread has gotten pretty big in the last few days...not sure if I said 'thanks,' yet. So, I'll say it, again, just in case I missed you on this.
Thank you!

There is a SM update coming (currently beta) with further fixes concerning hosts an grafics issues. I will compile the upcoming update for TesslaSE with that and we can test and see if things are getting better or not then.Grooveman wrote:I say it again,i really love it,but...
