I was making my way down the list of patches in the X-Gear Classic Rock collection. When I got to the White Cliffs patches I wasn't really sure what the first two were about.

Then I hit that third patch, "White Cliffs (Lead)", and suddenly Eric Johnson was in the room.

All I had to do was up the treble and presence a bit, and... well, wow.

That alone was worth 1/4 of the price of the Amplitube Vintage group buy.

Many thanks.

Go to PROGRAM FILES/IKMULTIMEDIA. There you will find the X-Gear folder. In that folder is a folder marked PRESETS. Dump 'em all in there.

They should then load right in the X-Gear GUI when you fire it up.

Put the whole folder as a whole in there. (My own folders are in the Xgear folder preset section and they show up on the top of the menu in the XGear section of the menu). X Gear will see the folder and show it in the GUI. That way you'll know the patches are from esoundz as they won't be mixed in with the other patches, but rather in their own folder. Same goes for your own patches.... just create a folder and save your custom presets to your own folder.
