Hi,
I just installed Helix in Live 7 on my MacBook. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to change presets? Also, I'd like to install some of the patches I've downloaded for it. Where do I install or import those to?
Thanks in advance!

Most hosts have a load preset/bank button. [edit]OverDose posted how to do it a few posts down[/edit]ckatrun411 wrote:yeah, exactly, great synth, and strange execution. work in progress I reckon. But at its current state I installed and removed.

Maybe some experienced Live user can chime in?

hmm, well, for what it is worth, I use live 7 as well.
Its no offense to you mate. I know you are extremely talented, and are having incredible success with the synth.
I have nothing but a lot of excitement for that. but... I have my own style, I was a guitar player before I started producing, computer software, is not my forte, I like the simplicity of the gui of..... Tera 3 for example... Rapture, which is my other payware, took me months, and months to understand the gui.
so... its less you, and more me!!!!

You can get a second hand PC for $50 that will run multiple Heli, Works fine in linux too, if you suffer from gatesophobia. I never would have guessed Live was at V7 and still couldn't load a soundbankiduru wrote:Hi,

The commercial version require you to change patches using the gui.Newk wrote:How can the patches be selected in FL Studio 8 ?
The vsti-wrapper is not able to control the presets and sending a patch change with midi also fails.
If you're using the old version, I believe it should respond to midi-program change.

Are there any good banks available for the free version or just for the commercial one?

Commercial one. The free one was available for so long, it turns out Jonas and myself were the only ones that made any patches for it (and shared them around).aMUSEd wrote:Are there any good banks available for the free version or just for the commercial one?
...and these are included with the commercial release as well, albeit slightly modified...so basically, no.
