hey Watto, think you might also take the outchorus with Jeff? I'll get some comping behind the bass solo and Jeff's original solo up tonight.

if we're gonna do a finished mix of the takes so far tongsong's oughtta be in there too, it's a good one.

uhhh...Gregjazz I hope

I did some comping tonight, ran into a small catch, the freebie server I've been using only wants mp3. i'll put the oggs on box.net in the morning.

anyway, here's an mp3 of the bass and trombone solos with comping -- the oggs will be separate files for each solo, so they don't have to appear in this order in the finished mix.

thanks once again to Sascha for pointing out the usefulness of .ogg -- not only do they drop right into a project without having to align them, but (in this case anyway) they're about 15% smaller than mp3 at the same bitrate.

oh yeah there's no leading space on these, just the clips starting on beat one of each chorus.

I think that's everything so far except tongsong's chorus, no soloed track for that yet. hey tongsong, could you put up an .ogg of just your guitar?

that's maybe more pieces than we need for one mix. Anybody else got a take?

Actually I can do this... let's wait and see for Tongsong to post his solo track and then I can put up a mix for you with solo space.

It might be better that way just because then you can hear what space you have to deal with.
