Hey Squids! Now that Sampletron is about to arrive, can we revisit the question - what is included in Squids Tron v1 that is not in SonikSynth2 from the recent group buy, Rare Instruments or Sampletron? Is it still worth ordering Squids Tron v1 if I have all the others?

Ok, so I d/l the demo and I have to say....

Squids, you are a seriously sick man... :D

The freaking Optigan/Talentmaker/Rhythmate loops from the DEMO are simply wicked :love:

Folks, this is the buy of the century. You will never, ever get this kind of cheese anywhere. These loops are like Flaming Cheetos Crunchy with Limon, dangerously cheesy 8)

Don't get me wrong, the other Tron instruments are way cool but the loops are just in a class by themselves.

I can't wait! When do you think you'll have them to ship? And yes, mine has been on pre-order since day 1 ;-)

It could be worth ordering Squids Tron still. You can ask for a bundle price. We'll have more detailed info soon. We're just waiting for supplies to arrive directly from IK's Italy HQ. It will probabbly ship out to customers by the end of nex week. Thanks for your patience.

It's so worth the wait. I think Squids has outdone Squids in this collection. ;-)

Of course, I don't have the stuff from the current GB yet. Between, V1/Sampletron/Rare&Vintage GB, you should have the most unusual collection of instruments/loops that exists anywhere!

I am so digging the loops in the demo dude....I gotta get V1 now...dammit!

The Sampletron demo is indeed sick beyond belief. It feels like a ghost instrument from the late 60s - haunting it is, and way....too...cool. Me wants.

Just a friendly question - i've been on the thread waiting for this for 2 years and I also pre-ordered it . . . will we receive a personal email that it has shipped to us? I don't want to be a pest - but i keep seeing 'shipped' and wonder - will it show up any day now? :-)

Yes, it is finally shipping this week. There wasn't anything we could do on our side to speed it up. We just had to wait for all of the stock to arrive. Allen will be sending out emails this week to everyone that pre-ordered letting them know that it's here AND that you'll have an extra $10 in epointz for the wait to use on your next purchase. The crossgrade price has changed on esoundz,con and is now more than the regular price. This just happened in the last day or so, and must have been some error introduced when the site was edited, to remove the "Preorder" links, which have now been deleted from the SampleTron pages for the regular and the cross-grade (the "Preorder" link remained for a couple of days on the crossgrade page after it was deleted from the regular version's page).

I'm hoping this pricing gets corrected on the website, so I can order it for the crossgrade price it's supposed to be, and was, i.e., $181 (appox).

I see what happened. It wasn't doing the membership discounts. It is now. So you can go buy the crossgrade for whatever your membership discount is. By the way, we ask that you don't quote "your price" on forums because the prices are different for each member depending on their membership level. If you are a gold or platinum member on esoundz it is going to be less than someone who isn't then it is likely to be a little less so... we ask that people please keep their personal transaction information private since it can vary from person to person.
