Hi, I saw an ad in keyboard magazine for studioprofles with BFD support.

any more info on that?

I don't see it mentioned on the website anywhere.

Thanks.

We're doing BFD2 format kits for various artists and styles. More info coming...

Thats cool -- do a percussion kit! The BFD percussion kit is $250 and people like me would love to have a BFD 2 stripped down percussion kit. I hope the price stays the same.

I think BFD2 kits in the $80 range would sell like crazy.

Launch that with a group buy!

Can't wait! If I could make a suggestion: use as few outboard effects as possible, while making as best use as you can of the internal BFD2 effects (that 1176 clone is da bomb).

I'm interested in this too - I'd really love that Taos kit in BFD format.

The first thing to be released will be the Kontakt versions. Then will come the BFD versions and people that want BOTH can have a cheap crossgrade discount on the other.

We're in the process of working on the BFD versions but they will be BFD2.1 versions featuring some special customizations with mics so... please be patient on our BFD support! We've got some really good stuff coming.

That said, the Kontakt kits are fantastic too. I personally like both for different reasons.
