It's going to take me a while to explain how I got this sound, but is anyone interested? I'll have to return to this thread probably on wednesday or thursday.
Quick explanation:
Saw wave with sync modulation (using modwheel) --> FilterBank3 (30db Lowpass high resonance, set to 1000hz) --> Voxengo Boogex (VERY VERY IMPORTANT, it's a free distortion) --> Ohmicide (just adds some extra oomph) --> Aftertouch pitch modulation

This sounds great. I would want a little more delay, or increased release time, as the notes seem to cut off pretty quick, and just a wee bit longer attack, and maybe a separate demo with some bass and drums, as I'm sure the basic sound as is would fit well in a quality mix of basic instruments, and defeat my nitpickingArchiteuthis wrote:Remember this old thread?:

Tips:
-Create very tiny short notes at the end of a note to create a louder mute sound.
-If you want a wah-guitar effect, you have to modulate both the filter and the resonance for best results. Resonance should go up and down semi-randomly while the filter should do what you'd expect it to do, create wahs.
