Incredible new EQ type for Nebula plugin

Guys! Before you start digging up your ports make sure you are logged in on the nebula-programs.com forum when you try to download, as the tracker will not let you in otherwise. I've had the same problem with downloads hanging with no activity in spite of existing seeds. Took me over 24h of thinking 'wtf is it not working?' before I noticed an error message in uTorrent (which is great btw) saying something about LOGIN - and then the penny dropped

That is definitely the problem with utorrent.

I started utorrent before, and noticed although I could see seeds/peers in brackets and it said 'seeding', nothing was uploading. So after a while, I logged in to nebula-programs.com. I still had no luck, until I double-clicked the torrent again to reload the trackers. Started uploading again in less than a minute...

I still don't understand what Nebula is. Is it static convolution? Is it dynamic convolution?

volterra kernels are a math extension of convolution (much more powerful, they feature distortion and you could summarize in convolution if you don't consider harmonics)

and even this concept was extendend a bit, they could change in the time domain allowing the emulation of time-varying devices

So if its like dynamic convolution with distortion included, then whats still missing to emulate Analog Tape Saturation 99.9%? The virtual 15ips Tape machine is the only thing I'm really interested in at this point. VTAPE looked good but it was overpriced and required ILOK.

and instantaneous compression effect. Nebula is not fast enough, you can't go faster than 2 milliseconds, unless you increase PROG RATE with a "special" nebula3 version. But it would have a lot of CPU load

Even with look ahead? hmm. UAD comps can go far below 2 milliseconds even at 44.1Khz. Maybe a special Tape Machine version of nebula that uses a regular compression algorithim instead of impulses would workaround that?

yes, because nebula doesn't refresh the vectors tree at an higher rate than 2 milliseconds. There is a special version with could be fine-tuned to 1 sample of rate. It's used for internal purposes only.

No, we are not interested in regular compression algorithms! there are already plenty of free tools around. We announced an important update for compressors, but it is scheduled for the second half of the year.

i think i will be buying nebula 3 based on that one sample though.. so cheap...
the vibe nebula adds... incredible!! i almost creamed my pants...

Nebula is more subtle has better image and is definitely more 3d

It's a good idea to let me know if you have trouble.
It could be different problems (tracker related or client related) but we have to get a bit more into detail so i can tell you the answer for your trobules...

I find myself trying everything and using UAD.

Yeah, the 1073 seems to love instruments, in particular. The 88RS worked so well, I had to try more...picked this up, after hearing it on a few stringed instruments.

sure! they have a good interface and sound, but they can't emulate gear at our speed and cost!!
