I don't want to put a master thread up until we have most of the previous GB stuff in the download area. Rare Acoustic should be ready for download in about an hour or less. We had some trouble getting it to upload right... rar/zip or mac/pc issue that we had to troubleshoot into the wee hours... I'm STILL at the office. The other stuff will be uploaded over the next two days so we'll get real crazy on this one around mid week. But feel free to spread the word because it is active and ready to go. Get a jump start on it!

Sounds good, but i'm wondering what the base product is...are we looking at DrumCore DeLuxe 2.5, or some slimmed-down version? Obviously at $99, or $149, this is a pretty damn hot deal, but apart from digging the names, I'm not making much sense of the offer's actual content so far.

We're all going on a bit of faith, here, just from our experience with past group buys and reading between the lines about what Squids has hinted at so far. I don't blame you for waiting a bit. I'm sure once Squids gets up the official announcement, the deal will be more clear. I don't think it's DeLuxe. I believe it's going to be 2.5 with some additional content/paks, but we'll see. My view is that it's likely to get to the $99 level, and that's a pretty sweet deal for 2.5 alone, much less any additional content that will get sprinkled in.


EDIT: I note the link buscemi posted has more details than the one I saw....strange...so go to that link if you want info on what's included.

It's not Deluxe. But it is DrumCore 2.5 (which had an MSRP of $249) so that alone for $99 is a steal but then there are up to 5 drummer packs too... Drummer Packs typically sell for around $79 each. So, this group buy is a REALLY good deal!
