Hello NEK,

that's a really good-looking vintage thang. I'm on board for testing and patching some sounds for it, if you want.

I would like to test your synth and help you to get most accurate JP sound , i dont own JP8 but i have JP8k which sounds similar sometimes.

I got some cool stuff going on already, been using the lfo a lot. The presets already in it are pretty good, better than mine.

nek-x, out of interrest:
did you code your own modules for se?
cos with the stock (or the 3rd party modules) you can't emulate a jupiter8 ...

i'd love to test it i have a pretty old amd-xp2200 computer if you would like to know how it runs, also happy to try making a bank of presets.

Hi Folks :)

first thanks to RunBeerRun and Subsonik for there nice words

@ brok landers:

Well, a crowd "emulations" buzzes around here.
Everyone is almost created with SE.
Of course nobody can emulating unite "Minimoog", "ARP-Oddysee",
and among others with Synth-Edit PERFECTLY.... Not also I.
Therefore I also have set the names in characters ;)
The differences between SE-Oscilators and real-ones are not soooo greatly either, though.

Everywhere "Music" comes out behind. :hihi:

Have fun ... NEK...

@ shanegriffo: thanks ... i send you the link ;)

When next update of the synth ? If i would be able to recreate pad which sounds like the first in this video :
Then i would be verry happy cause it have characteristic sound of JP , so far i couldnt do it.

well, yeah, that's what i meant ... they're no emulations at all ...
it's by far not done copying the architecture/signal flow and slapping a similar gui on it ...
NEK-X wrote: The differences between SE-Oscilators and real-ones are not soooo greatly either, though.
that's not the point, the point is that they're actually _totally_ different, so the audible result will be far away from the real one (not to speak of the crossmodulation and filters, which also sound completeley different), i could go into detail, but that would take me too long ...

no offense meant, i just wanted to know, so thank you for clarifying!
