Will the Freeamp2 presets work in Freeamp 3? I got a feeling the answer is no, but I thought I'd ask anyways.

You answered yourself, No FA2 and FA3 are very different plugins. FA3 was a rebuild from scratch, sorry.

Oh I'm not questioning the quality. Just that there were some pretty "out-there" presets in Moes preset bank for ver.2 and I no longer posess it.

Freeamp2 presets for Freeamp 3?
