I don't think there should be a graphical section added. It would destroy the "flow" or feel of the GUI. He's obviously trying to emulate a channel strip type EQ like any decent console has and none of them have any type of display.
Sorry, just my opinion. But I don't think it should be added. Besides, it will make you use your ears more!

Before proposing, I did a little search and didn't find out any VST collision on Google (searched for "Equity VST"...

Actually, what I am describing uses your ears in the exact same way as a console strip eq. A draggable handle on a interface only selects frequency and gain, but you can sweep through the entire freq and gain parameters so much easier and make your eq curve so much faster than with seperate bands using 3 knobs. I am not asking for a real time frequency spectrum display. Even though I have the waves ssl I use ape EQ much more due to the ease of use. Everybodys different but this is my big thing.alteregoxxx wrote:I am with youkoolkeys wrote:I don't think there should be a graphical section added. It would destroy the "flow" or feel of the GUI. It's true that it looks beautiful like this; having said that, perhaps there could be tiny button that would make an EQ curve pop up... hardcore analog emulation afficionados wouldn't have to touch that button, ever, of coursekoolkeys wrote:I don't think there should be a graphical section added.
