Why not a contest with the complete 512 patches set? Just for fun!
Only if we can win a new 512 patch set crafted by Michael :D

Makes it a tad bit more sad that I missed the deadline.

Thanks for the comment, I'm really glad you like it, it's the kind of reactions that keep you going :)

PM me your email Kyran, like i said i want happy endings.

Knowing your intention was to submit something (from the early post you made), and you did, a bit late thou, is enough for me.

I didn't really expect that, you're a very generous person.

One last question: are we allowed to post on KVR Music Cafè our creations or are they somehow tied to this contest?

Thanks,
Mario

Somehow I've got it into my brain that the deadline was the 15th.. anyway reading the rules closer I see that I shouldn't have used external compression and eq, so I really really disq'ed myself there... :dog:

oh well, might aswell finish the track anyway...

Btw... we're online now 8)

Michael, does the site look okay? Should I add the demo patches download?

(I'm currently sweating while figuring out a notification email)

Nice stuff to listen to here. Still not done entirely, but it clearly shows what a few quality presets for a quality synth can do in terms of inspiration.

And well, almost as usual, Michael comes through as the gentleman he seems to be. Giving the soundset out to every participant is just freaking nice.

Wanted to probably come up with something, but being in Tokyo with very little free time on my hands defenitely made me do other things than switching on my laptop and sequencer (which isn't making too much sense without a MIDI keyboard anyways).

Cheers to everybody. I'm sure you'll enjoy your Oldskool III patches just as much (probably even more) as I enjoy the version I and II incarnations.
