There is alternate notes (but not picking). The alternate notes are velocity layered and there is also a full range of staccato notes up in the higher octaves of all the articulations. This works great to alternate fast playing styles, especially if you have a larger keyboard midi controller.
Or, it is also easy to hand program the alternate notes in your piano roll.
Add to this the 4 soundset/keyswitch slots which allow you to switch on the fly amongst the articulations. (Fingered, Slap, Picked etc.)
There is no auto cycling though.
As for Disk streaming - You can turn it on or off on the Gui. So it can stream from disk or from Ram. So far all users have loved the Disk Streaming and we have no issues at all with it.
