actually thinking about it...

I guess you can class reaper as a plugin as it'll ReWire into other apps.

Easy then, Reaper it is!

Reacomp, ReaXcomp ReaEq, Reatune, Reaverb etc etc etc - over 100 excellent plugins including the JS stuff.
