But I think it's time to release this plugin that I've been working with on and off for so long. So I'm going to set a release date for no later than May 31st.
Here's a bit of info about some of the new features:
The sequencers
I've done a lot of work on the sequencers and have improved greatly on performance. Thanks to Chris Kerry modules used in the new structure, the sequencers will now follow the host position properly from the start. This makes a dramatic difference. The new sequencers use a lot less cpu than before and focus more on performance rather than experimentation by dropping some options that were available in c3 and sticking to velocity modulation for now. However each sequencer will have random velocity probability which will add to Cerebrum's randomizing capabilities. The sequencers will be 16 step as usual, but I've decided to give the bass sequencer 32 steps making for far more interesting basslines. The sequencers have also greatly improved on time measures and always fall back to host position when switched. Each sequencer will also have three stored sequences that can be switched between during performance.

The drum modules
Instead of having 5 drums and a bass, C4 will have 8 drum modules, 2 sampler modules as well as a bass module. This will have no considerable impact on cpu. 2 of each kick, snare, hihat, perc and sampler. The two hihats can be choked, one being open, one closed.

Rather than carrying on all the features from v3 and adding new ones, C4 starts fresh, leaving room for new ideas while moving into a new direction.
