who'da thunk it? me, that's who...I'm sure we agree on more things than we disagree on. You really didn't read my posts in context. For instance where I said I was in my late teens and early 20s then. In case you missed the point (and I'm sure you'll agree on this) at that age we are all very opinionated, in fact I think it's one of the toughest parts of life because of that. You took my post as if I was attacking something, but I was just agreeing with someone else. I was also quite clear that my thinking was quite unconventional.pinkjimiphoton wrote:+100,000,000,000%Hink wrote:of all the things I admire about him, his diligence to finishing his songs when confronted with death is very inspirational too me. wow...we agree?
who'da thunk it...
On the other thread it seems you saw my post that was the last post as the first post hence "my thread". But that was not my thread, someone else started it my response to him was "good luck, I've been searching for the perfect rock guitar sound over the last four decades...if you find it let me know k?" You know that is really saying the exact same thing as you.
You were quick to attack and slow to comprehend, I meant no one nor any gear ill will. As rurik (xoxos) says below I'm never going tu judge anyone, I'm just going to decide what works best for me. EH was not that way for me and in the 70s there were lots of musical cliques. I spoke the truth about mine and I still prefer the other companies I mentioned.
I hope we can be friends, I kinda thought we were heading that way the first time we talked. But as I know you're no kid either I think you should understand that coming at me with attacks is the kind of behavior I would of expected from those cliques back then when I was a kid. Now I'm a man (and I like to think a gentleman), a father, a grandfather and a son, I'd like to think those times are in my past where they belong.

I'd like be a less big guyxoxos wrote:calm down. hink's as "your tone is your tone" as they come.
he's not saying "muffs are stupid," he's saying "believe it or not, from the place i come from, they're not considered a good sounding pedal."
it's called talking story, telling about the world you've seen, to be useful to others who bump into the same kinds of things.. hink's a big guy, he knows it's okay for people to like different things, and he feels safe talking about it, in public

You might be right about all of that. I took twenty minutes out of my precious f**king day to build some asshole a muff that can't even be bothered to say thanks for the effort and it's not a bad muff!..... pifft.... The whole scene is tainted.Sickle wrote:Muff's rule and you people are a bunch of f**king assholes.

The French culture minute:Sickle wrote: Can you build a gay muff for homo muff usurz?
Actually in French, "Pedal" means gay in an offensive way.
Don't ask me why
