Hi aradaz,
many thanks for the plug.

It works very well on solo instruments as guitar for me.
But when I use it for a complete mix I get much distortion.
Make I something wrong or is the plug for solo instruments?

I got distortion, strangely, when I backed the input down, but it seemed to go away when I brought it back up again.

Same thing here too. That makes the input knob almost useless: if the incoming signal is "very" loud you can go down a few db... but fact is: the more you lower, the more you get distortion. I think there's something wrong with it..

I think the input control acting basically like a limiter threshold...trying on drums i hear a sound that resembles drums processed with a limiter...i think the distortion comes from the short release time of this limiter...i could be wrong perhaps...

yup, input control act as a limiter with fixed release, honestly I didnt know what should I named "that". I'm still working on this, I want to make an auto release for it, so please be patient guys, wish me luck..

I'm not impatient at all! Think at is as we try to be helpful, just that kind of distortion is a no-no (at least to my ears..)

AradazMaimizer5 has been reworked, this one is better than the previous version, I'm still using the same name for it but internally changed

Already this sounds better; I'm not getting the distortion I was getting before (at least trying to get a track to -10dB RMS), but the controls are, of course, different.

What's "character"? Release time?
