Dreamy! Nice composition, almost has a latin feel in parts, and of course the epiano always gets me going...

Thanks for taking the time to have a listen

Uhh... I noticed I had uploaded a version with distortion on the ep instead of reverb.
Also changed some of the sound and notes a bit in the version I just uploaded (link is the same, first post). So good excuse for a bump
Cheers!

Yes. It's like some kind of BGM from a movie.
Don't consider it Lounge, though. But I really like the atmosphere. And the beat fits the melody very well.
I like the drum programming too.
Good work!

Yup, and don't know why and I don't know how, but you, my good man, are writing tangonica, without even knowing it!core wrote:Latin? Not intentionally...

Beatiful keys and background pads; they compliment each other very well. I would have preferred less compressed sounding snare maybe with a tad bit of room amb.
Thanks for sharing.

I always try to find a suitable label to stick with the song so people who like heavy metal don't waste their time checking my stuff, but usually I fail to properly describe my tracks. I guess I could've tagged it background music instead of lounge...dark_virus wrote:Yes. It's like some kind of BGM from a movie.

You mean the first beat? It was worse when I started out, but when I had tweaked the snare a little I felt it lost some of it's orginal touch so I kept most of its sound. I hear what you're saying though.Genetic_Junk wrote:Beatiful keys and background pads; they compliment each other very well. Nice piece
Good mix and wow drums (in playing as in sounds though I'm not in theory a fan of overcompressed drums)
And I agree the first part of the melody sounds like a tangonica played half speed
Thx for this nice moment

The main pad is from Majken's SubDuer, bass is from EVOL and V-Station.blortblort wrote:Like p-slax, I too am a sucker for the ep. Very nice composition... love the drums on this one, core!
